Town Supervisor promises suspects behind graffiti will 'be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law"

In a statement posted to Facebook, Supervisor Joe Emminger says the town does not condone and will not tolerate the graffiti.

TOWN OF TONAWANDA, N.Y. โ€” Town of Tonawanda Supervisor Joe Emminger is promising the person behind recent graffiti will 'be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.'

Police say someone did more than a thousand dollars of damage at Kenny Field near Colvin and Brighton overnight Sunday. Several tables, playground equipment, and even a veterans' memorial were vandalized and spray-painted with vulgar language. 

Clean-up work will begin Monday morning.  

In a statement posted to Facebook, Supervisor Emminger says the town does not condone and will not tolerate the graffiti.  Anyone with any information is asked to contact the Town of Tonawanda Police Department at 716-879-6614, or the confidential tip line at 716-879-6606.
