Town of Tonawanda man gets 20 years in prison for robberies

The robberies happened at six stores in Amherst, Kenmore and the Town of Tonawanda back in February and March.

BUFFALO, N.Y. — A Town of Tonawanda man who robbed convenience stores around the Northtowns will spend two decades in prison.

Justin Jenkins, 46, got the sentence from Erie County Court Judge James Bargnesi on Thursday for the robberies at six stores in Amherst, Kenmore and the Town of Tonawanda back in February and March.

The sentence includes five years of post-release supervision.

His wife Heather Jenkins, 46, admitted to helping with those robberies. She's scheduled for sentencing next month.
