TONAWANDA, N.Y. — U.S. Attorney Trini Ross announced Friday that Michael E. Swain, 36, of Tonawanda pleaded guilty to the production of child pornography.
It is alleged that Swain coerced five minor victims into engaging in sexually explicit conduct between Oct. 20 and Nov. 1, 2021.
He communicated with a 15-year-old minor from Colorado using Discord, a social media platform, asking them to take sexually explicit videos and images and send them to him.
Additionally, Swain engaged in other communications with the minor from 2019 to 2022.
The FBI executed a search warrant on Feb. 28, 2023, and found that a desktop computer, laptop, and an external hard drive all contained child pornography.
Swain is due back in court on Dec. 4 where he will be sentenced and charged.
