NIAGARA FALLS, NY-- A three-year veteran of the Niagara Falls Police Department is facing drug charges following an investigation by the DEA and Niagara Falls Police.

Police say they arrested Raymond Hopson, 32, and Lindsay Carrier, 31, both of Niagara Falls for conspiracy, criminal possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and unlawful possession of marijuana. Both are facing more charges and are currently being held without bail.

Stephanie Costanzo, 38, a Niagara Falls Police officer, was also charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and unlawful possession of marijuana. Police say Costanzo was not the subject of the investigation, but she was charged because she resides in the same home as Hopson. Police officials say she is not suspected of any wrong-doing while on duty. She is also not accused of using her position to further any illegal activity. She is currently suspended from duty.
