TOWN OF TONAWANDA, NY- Tonawanda Police are not releasing many details, about a woman who was killed in her Tonawanda apartment this week.
Officers were called to do a welfare check on Roberta Rybinski, 51, at the Newell Heights Apartments Tuesday, after family members grew concerned they could not reach her.
Police found Rybinski's body inside an apartment. An autopsy determined the cause of death as a homicide.
Officials are not releasing details of how Rybinski was killed, but detectives are following up on leads.
Neighbor says Rybinski only had lived in the apartment complex for a few months, and days leading up to her death, neighbors heard Rybinski arguing with a man, that would sometimes stay with her.
Police have not said anything about the victim's family or friends.
