BUFFALO, N.Y. — Buffalo Police have made an arrest in connection with a stabbing that happened early Friday morning.
Officers were called to Seneca Street near Mineral Springs Road in South Buffalo around 1 a.m. for a report of a stabbing.
Police say they found one person suffering from stab wounds to their chest and abdomen. The victim as been identified as a 43-year-old male.
A 17-year-old Buffalo male has been charged with one count of Attempted Murder in the Second Degree and one count Assault in the First Degree,.
The victim was taken to ECMC by ambulance. He is currently in critical condition.
The Erie County District Attorney's Office arraigned the adolescent offender Friday morning before a Youth Part Judge.
According to the Erie County DA's office the suspect has been arraigned on one count of attempted murder in the second degree, and one count of assault in the first degree.
They currently have the suspect in custody at the Erie County Youth Services Center. They are scheduled to return for a felony hearing on November 7 at 9 a.m.
