NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. — Niagara Falls police say they've caught the man behind several robberies around the city earlier this week.
Investigators say, Andrew Patterson, 29, is the man who wore plastic bags as he robbed two convenience stores and a donut shop. It was a tip that led police officers to chase him down on 19 Street last night.
He's charged with attempted robbery and resisting arrest.
According to the New York State Corrections Department, he was released from prison on parole just eight days ago after serving more than two years for attempted robbery.
