BUFFALO, N.Y. — An arrest has been made following a hit-and-run incident that happened Saturday night in the City of Buffalo.

The incident happened around 8 p.m. Saturday at Cumberland Avenue and Cazenovia Street in South Buffalo. That's where Buffalo Police said two pedestrians were struck, after a vehicle made a westbound turn onto Cumberland Avenue.

Both pedestrians were injured, and the vehicle fled the scene. The vehicle was quickly found minutes later by a Stop DWI detail car in the area, with the driver blowing a .19% on a breathalyzer test.

Police have identified the driver as 49-year-old Maggie Coyle, who has been charged with one count each of aggravated driving while intoxicated, driving while intoxicated, and leaving the scene of an incident without reporting, as well as two counts of failure to exercise due care.

One of the pedestrians, a woman, was treated for minor injuries at the scene. The other pedestrian, a 23-year-old man, was taken by ambulance to Erie County Medical Center for a head injury. He was treated and released.
