Man rushed to ECMC after overnight shooting

A 32-year-old Buffalo man was shot while walking to his vehicle. The man was taken to ECMC.

BUFFALO, N.Y. — One man was rushed to Erie County Medical Center after a shooting that happened early Sunday in the City of Buffalo.

The shooting happened shortly after 4 a.m. Sunday near Broadway and Rommel Avenue, a spokesperson for the Buffalo Police Department told 2 On Your Side.

A 32-year-old Buffalo man was shot while walking to his vehicle. The man was taken to ECMC, and police said they do not consider his injuries to be life-threatening.
