Brockport man charged in fatal hit-and-run crash

The crash happened on McNamer Road just after 4 p.m. Thursday.

ORLEANS COUNTY, N.Y. — The New York State Police are investigating a fatal hit and run accident in the Town of Barre.

The crash happened on McNamer Road just after 4 p.m. Thursday.

Troopers say a pickup truck was traveling east on McNamer Road on the north shoulder in the wrong lane of travel. They say the driver of the truck, Noah L. Magee, 19, of Brockport, allegedly hit a motorist on a dirt bike who was traveling west on the shoulder head on.

Magee is accused of leaving the scene after the crash. The operator of the dirt bike, Roger A. Kingdollar, 24, of Holley was pronounced dead at the scene.

Troopers say Magee later returned to the scene without his truck and they detained him.

Magee is charged with Reckless Endangerment 1st degree (D Felony), Leaving the Scene of a Fatal Motor Vehicle Accident (D Felony) and other Vehicle and Traffic Infractions. He was taken to the Orleans County jail pending his arraignment Friday.
