LEWISTON, NY-- Lewiston Police have arrested a Niagara Falls woman after she was involved in an accident with an officer.
The accident happened around 10:35PM Wednesday night at the intersection of Lewiston Road and Military Road.
Officers say Sandra Jo Frantz, 58, struck a Lewiston Police Car and pushed it across the intersection. The officer was trapped in the car briefly due to the damage. He also reported minor pain in his neck and back.
Police say sobriety tests found Frantz to be intoxicated.
She faces multiple charges and is being held in Niagara County Jail.
