NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. — A 28-year-old man was shot and killed Sunday afternoon on the 1600 block of Linwood Avenue in Niagara Falls.
The Niagara Falls man was shot in the upper body shortly before 1 p.m. A passerby and two responding officers attempted CPR, but the man was declared dead at the scene.
Another man from Niagara Falls, a 27-year-old, was shot in the foot, according to Niagara Falls Police. He was treated at Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center and is expected to make a full recovery.
A large section of the street was blocked off and bullet casings could be seen in the road.
