Niagara Falls man arrested in marijuana bust, police say

The New York State Office of Cannabis Management is calling this one of its biggest seizures to date.

NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. — Police say a Niagara Falls man ran two illegal marijuana stores in the city.

Niagara Falls Police on Wednesday said they investigated Lawrence Roy Humphrey for three months before making the arrest. Investigators said they found cannabis, cannabis edibles, and vape cartridges during a search of the two businesses and his home following the execution of search warrants on Tuesday.

The New York State Office of Cannabis Management is calling this one of its biggest seizures to date.

Police said the raid happened at three locations in the city: Something Serious Smoke Shop at 1100 Connecting Road, First Class Cannabis at 3256 Hyde Park Blvd, and at Humphrey's Lincoln Street home.
