NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. — A Niagara Falls man was sentenced to 20 years to life in state prison for his role in a 2023 murder.
Brian Wallace, 37, was sentenced Thursday after previously admitting and pleading guilty to murdering 38-year-old Lauren Hayes in a motel room in Niagara Falls on Feb. 21, 2023.
“Ms. Hayes’ life came to a terrible and tragic end at the hands of this defendant in that hotel room," Niagara County District Attorney Brian D. Seaman said in a statement, announcing the sentence.
He continued, "This crime is certainly deserving of the sentence handed down by the court.”
