NIAGARA COUNTY, N.Y. — The Niagara County Sheriff's Office responded to a call on Friday at 10:22 a.m. regarding a car that had crashed into a building in the Town of Cambria.
Officers responded to the scene on Saunders Settlement Road, where a 2023 Ford escape could be seen crashed into the front of a WNY Urology Clinic.
According to a news release from the Niagara County Sheriff's Office, it said that the driver had been pulling into a parking spot and thought that they were hitting the brake but actually hit the gas moving forward.
No injuries were reported by anyone inside the clinic, but the driver and passenger of the car were taken to Lockport Hospital. Both were assessed for minor injuries.
A Town of Cambria building inspector reported that a damage estimation is not yet available, and that the business' operating hours did not have to stop due to the crash.
