CHEEKTOWAGA, N.Y. — A motorcyclist underwent surgery following a crash in Cheektowaga.
A car leaving Delta Sonic struck a motorcycle traveling east Tuesday on Walden Avenue, which was closed for a period of time while crews investigated at the scene. The crash happened around 5 p.m. Tuesday.
The man riding the motorcycle was taken to Erie County Medical Center after suffering injuries that were not considered to be life-threatening. He underwent surgery and is recovering at ECMC, Cheektowaga Police said Wednesday in a statement.
Police did not specify the man's injuries.
The person driving the vehicle was treated for injuries at the scene, according to Cheektowaga Police.
