NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. — One man is dead after a shooting at Niagara Metals on Packard Road in Niagara Falls.
The president of Niagara Metals, Todd Levin, told 2 On Your Side's Dave McKinley that an employee shot a co-worker in the back of the head.
Levin says the suspect left work and believes he is still unaccounted for.
Niagara Falls Police put out an alert for for Matthew H. Figura, Jr., who they say is a person of interest in connection with the shooting.
Police say Figura has been located in Wyoming County.
The name of the victim has not been released, but Levin says he was a veteran employee with Niagara Metals and was dead by the time officers arrived shortly after 8 a.m. He said he didn't know what led to the shooting.
Grief counselors will be brought in for employees.
