BUFFALO, N.Y. — A Buffalo man wanted for murder in North Carolina was arrested by Buffalo Police.
Police say theman, identified as Craig Lynch, 23, of Buffalo allegedly obstructed a police investigation Saturday and was later found to have three active warrants for his arrest out of Wilmington, North Carolina.
Officers were called to a report of a fight on Huntington Avenue around 6:30 p.m. Saturday. When they arrived, officers say they encountered a hostile man who was later tased and taken into custody for obstructing the investigation.
Once in custody, it was discovered that Craig Lynch, 23, of Buffalo has active murder, attempted murder, and robbery warrants out of Wilmington, North Carolina from earlier in the week.
He was charged with Obstruction of Governmental Administration, and is currently being held at the Erie County Holding Center before extradition to North Carolina.
Jasmine Hernandez, 19, of Cheektowaga was also charged with harassment as a result of the Saturday incident.
