BUFFALO, N.Y. — A Buffalo man was taken to the hospital after being stabbed at the University Metro station.
The incident happened Friday around 1:30 p.m.
An Niagara Frontier Transportation Authority spokesperson said a group of people known to each were arguing in the lobby of the station when the argument escalated. They say a 36-year-old man pulled out a knife and stabbed another man.
The victim, a 48-year-old man, was taken by ambulance to Erie County Medical Center to be treated for an injury that was not considered to be life-threatening.
The suspect is in police custody, the NFTA said.
