Man hit by car while biking overnight in North Tonawanda

The car left the scene but is believed to be a blue sub-compact, possibility a Kia. Police say the vehicle should have front-end passenger side damage.

NORTH TONAWANDA, N.Y. — A man was struck by a car early Saturday morning according to the North Tonawanda Police Department.

They said the man was on his bicycle when he was hit at the intersection of Main and Tremont Street around 1:15 a.m.

The victim is currently at Erie County Medical Center and suffering severe injuries, they added.

The car left the scene but is believed to be a blue sub-compact, possibility a Kia. Police say the vehicle should have front-end passenger side damage. Officers are looking to locate this vehicle.
