TONAWANDA, N.Y. — One person who was shot Monday in the City of Tonawanda has died.
City of Tonawanda Police confirmed in a statement Thursday that a 44-year-old man has died. Another person who was shot on Cleveland Avenue, a 35-year-old man, was treated and released from Erie County Medical Center.
City of Tonawanda Police responded to a shots fired call around 8 a.m. Monday. Officers who arrived on the scene found two men who had been shot, and they were both taken to ECMC.
The investigation into the shooting is ongoing, police said Thursday.
