BURT, N.Y. — A man Niagara County man is facing a number of charges after New York State Police said he attempted to trade guns on the Facebook Marketplace.
Michael Lee, a 32-year-old man from Burt, allegedly posted online, looking for somebody to trade with him, in exchange for a vehicle. Troopers said a search warrant at his home turned up four assault weapons and eight high-capacity magazines.
Lee has been charged with four counts of criminal possession of an assault weapon, criminal possession of a weapon: high-capacity magazine; and possession of a loaded firearm.
A search of the New York State electric court filing system on Saturday showed that Lee has a defense attorney.
