ALABAMA, N.Y. — A Lockport woman is facing seven felony charges, including murder, following an investigation into an Olcott man's death back in March.
Kathryn A. Henry, a 33-year-old also known as "Kat," was charged Friday according to the Genesee County Sheriff's Office. Officials say she "conspired with another party, intentionally causing the death" of 59-year-old Michael G. Poole of Olcott, then attempted to conceal his body.
Poole's body was found on March 19 in the Town of Alabama. His body was located during a missing persons investigation that started in Niagara County.
Henry is charged with one count each of murder, assault, concealment of a human corpse, hindering prosecution, and tampering with physical evidence. She also faces two felony counts of conspiracy.
Henry was arraigned Friday and is being held, without bail, at the Genesee County Jail.
