CATTARAUGUS COUNTY, N.Y. — A Cattaraugus County man has been charged for allegedly failing to register with the New York State Sex Offender registry when he moved.
Jamarl D. Berry a level 3 sex offender, was arrested after he allegedly forgot to update his address after moving to a new address. Investigators accused Berry of not mailing in his annual address verification, and failed to get his updated picture taken at the Cattaraugus County Sheriff's Office.
He is charged with three counts of Failure to Register with the NYS sex offender's registry.
Berry remains behind bars without bail. He is scheduled to reappear in the Town of Hinsdale Court at a later date.
