Kingsmen Murder Trial: Jenkins sentenced to life without parole

LOCKPORT, N.Y. -- Andre Jenkins, who was found guilty of the murder of two members of the Kingsmen Motorcycle Club, was sentenced to life without parole on Wednesday.

Andre Jenkins, 36, a reputed enforcer for the Kingsmen who lived in Florida before his arrest last fall, was found guilty on all counts in August; one count of first degree murder and two counts of second degree murder in the deaths fellow Kingsmen Daniel 'D-J' Szymanski, 31, and Paul Maue, 38. The jury deliberated over six hours before reaching their decision.

Both suffered single gunshot wounds while inside a car parked in back of the Kingsmen clubhouse on Oliver Street.

It was also a very emotional proceeding for the victim's families

At the sentencing on Wednesday, the mother of one of the victims cried and held up her son's ashes and said "this is all that's left of him." She also went on to say her son was killed in a cold hearted way and that Jenkins was a "coward" and an "animal."

In a lengthy speech before the sentence was announced, Jenkins maintained his innocence, questioned the integrity if the witnesses who testified Against him. He also also made the comment that prosecutors "watched too much Sons of Anarchy."

It took jurors two days to convict Jenkins with the double murder in August.
