BUFFALO, NY - An Erie County Deputy was attacked with human excretions Monday, according to the Sheriff's Department.
On March 3, while a Deputy was conducting morning security rounds, inmate Jamell Chapman threw urine and feces at the Deputy, hitting him in the face and upper torso.
According to the Sheriff, Chapman is being held on robbery and murder charges. He has additional charges against him for hiding two shivs in his cell last February.
This incident remains under investigation.
