Buffalo man found dead in Jamestown; homicide investigation launched

"The incident is being treated as a homicide, and the investigation is ongoing," Jamestown Police said in statement.

JAMESTOWN, N.Y. — A homicide investigation has been launched after a Buffalo man was found dead Wednesday in Jamestown.

Officers with the Jamestown Police Department were called around 12:07 p.m. Wednesday to Park View Apartments, at 401 West 4th St., following a report of an unresponsive man.

That person, identified as 28-year-old Marlon Clay on Buffalo, was declared dead at the scene. Police did not list any specific injuries in connection to his death.

"The incident is being treated as a homicide, and the investigation is ongoing," Jamestown Police said in statement while announcing the news Thursday evening.
