HAMBURG, N.Y. — Four people, including a juvenile, have been arrested for robbing and assaulting a man at the Motel 6 in Hamburg according to the Town of Hamburg Police.
On Saturday at 2:30 a.m., police say a 25-year-old man went to the motel to meet up with a woman he had met previously at a bar.
Upon entering the hotel room, two men in ski masks pointed a firearm at the 25-year-old, later determined to be a pepper ball gun, took his belongings, and trapped him inside the room where he was punched repeatedly.
Both individuals in the ski masks fled the scene but were shortly stopped north of South Park Avenue and Big Tree Road.
After further investigation, Lawrence Colbert, 27, Rayquan Colbert, 25, Kristina Eaves, 22, and a juvenile female were all arraigned and charged with robbery, assault, petit larceny, menacing, unlawful imprisonment, and conspiracy.
A felony hearing is scheduled at Hamburg Town Count on July 25, 2024.
