BUFFALO, N.Y. — Former Buffalo Bills wide receiver and Pro Football Hall of Famer Andre Reed says he was a victim of a burglary while in London for the Bills game this past weekend.
Reed posted on social media that someone entered his and his wife's hotel room while they were at an appearance in the UK.
He says they stole his Hall of Fame ring, other jewelry, shoes, purses and clothing, as well as their passports.
Reed said in his post that police in London are investigating and that they were issued emergency passports to return home.
Andre Reed was drafted by the Buffalo Bills in 1985. He spent 15 seasons with the Bills before signing with the Denver Broncos. Reed was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2014.
