5 people arrested after Barthel Street SWAT raid

According to the police, four guns, 19 pounds of marijuana, 375 grams of psilocybin mushrooms, various colored pressed pills, and $10,181 cash were recovered.

BUFFALO, N.Y. — Five people have been arrested after a raid by Buffalo Police SWAT on Barthel Street Tuesday.

A search warrant was used and police recovered four loaded guns, 19 pounds of marijuana, 375 grams of psilocybin mushrooms, various multi-colored pressed pills, and $10,181 in cash.

Dajanae Carson, 19, James Doucette, 19, Mekhi Green, 20, Donnell Lloyd, 25, all of Buffalo, and Israel Douglas, 22, of Cheektowaga, were all arrested and have been charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance, Criminal Possession of a Weapon, Criminal Possession of Cannabis, and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance.

According to investigators, the four weapons found were a Smith & Wesson SD9 loaded with 9 rounds, a Glock 21 loaded with 13 rounds, a Glock 22 loaded with 18 rounds, and a Glock 19 loaded with 21 rounds.
