BUFFALO, N.Y. — Buffalo Police say they are investigating a fatal hit and run pedestrian accident on Elmwood Avenue.
The incident happened around 11 p.m. Wednesday night on Elmwood Avenue between Hertel and Hinman avenues.
Investigators say a 59-year-old male from Buffalo was struck by a vehicle and declared dead at the scene.
Officers later located the vehicle, but say they are still looking for the driver.
