NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. — Niagara Falls Police are investigating a fatal hit-and-run pedestrian incident
Officers were called to the area of 287 Hyde Park around 2:30 am Tuesday for a report of a pedestrian struck by a vehicle.
When police arrived, they found an unresponsive male in the street. He was later pronounced dead.
Investigators say there was an altercation that allegedly happened in the street with several people that led to the male being hit by the vehicle.
The driver of the vehicle fled the scene before police arrived. They located the vehicle a short while later in an alley near the incident.
