LOCKPORT, N.Y. — The New York State Police is investigating a fatal two-vehicle crash on Wednesday involving a dump truck.
Troopers were called to the intersection of Beattie Avenue and Hamm Road in the Town of Lockport just after 1pm.
Investigators say a 2024 Honda Civic had failed to yield the right of way while making a left turn onto Beattie Avenue when it was hit by a dump truck that was traveling south on Beatie Avenue.
The driver of Honda Civic driver has been identified as 70-year-old Laurie J. Wright of Lockport. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
