BUFFALO, N.Y. — One of two former Town of Tonwanda Police Paramedics accused of stealing drugs from the station has pleaded guilty.

The Erie County District Attorney's office says Jeremy Pecoraro, 40,  pleaded guilty to Attempted Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance for taking the drugs from a prescription drop-off box at the station earlier this year.

He was fired from his job with the town.  He won't face punishment as long as he stays out of legal trouble for the next year and gets counseling.

Another fired paramedic, Jon Cinelli, is still facing more serious charges because the DA says he had more than a thousand pills on him when he was caught.
