BUFFALO, N.Y. — A man from Elmira was sentenced on Tuesday for possession of child pornography.
Donald Campbell Sr., 62, who was previously convicted under the laws of New York State relating to possession of child pornography, will serve 144 months in prison as a result of the sentence.
According to investigators, Campbell possessed a cell phone and an SD card between July 2022 and January 2023 that contained numerous images and videos of child pornography.
He possessed more than 600 images and videos that depicted children less than 12 years old being subjected to sexual abuse, and the sexual abuse of an infant.
Campbell is a registered level-three sex offender, which is the highest risk level according to the United States Attorney's Office.
He previously faced two felonies for child pornography offenses in state court back in December 2004, and March 2019.
