BUFFALO, N.Y. — If you believe you've seen a drone, New York State Police would like to hear from you.
"The New York State Police have received numerous reports of drone sightings over the past 24 hours, and we are investigating each report and sharing information with our federal and local law enforcement partners through the New York State Intelligence Center," state police said Friday afternoon.
State Police said they don't believe there's any threat to public safety, but they are asking people to report what they see to investigate further.
You can report drone sightings to via email to crimetip@troopers.ny.gov. You're asked to include the time, date, location, and any pictures or videos you have. The more details you can provide, the better.
