BUFFALO, N.Y. — A Town of Tonawanda man who admitted to stabbing another man outside of a Town of Tonawanda bar has been sentenced to six months in jail and five years probation.
Zachery S. Meer 30, of Tonawanda was sentenced Tuesday morning in Erie County Court. He had plead guilty to one county of Assault in the Second Degree in March.
Investigators say Meer stabbed the 29-year-old victim in the torso following a fight on an outdoor patio of a bar on the 1800 block of Colvin Boulevard on June 11, 2023.
The victim was taken by ambulance to ECMC to be treated for a stab wound.
An order of protection was issued on behalf of the victim until June 2029.
