ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. — The Erie County District Attorney's Office announced that a 28-year-old man has been sentenced before the State Supreme Court on Tuesday for engaging in sexual intercourse with a minor less than 14-years-old.
James Q. Carollo of Crosby Texas has been sentenced to 12-years in prison followed by 20-years of post-release supervision. He will also be required to register as a sex offender following his release.
The crime had occurred around both July 7, 2020 and September, 10 2020 at a location in the Village of Orchard Park. Carollo had been known to the victim.
In July 2023 Carollo had been arrested on the indictment warrant in Houston, Texas and returned to WNY for prosecution. At the time of his conviction he plead guilty to one-count of rape in the first degree on December, 13 2023.
