BUFFALO, N.Y. — Buffalo Police made an arrest following an armed robbery that happened on Sunday, March 3 in the City of Buffalo.
Police got a call around 6:30 a.m. that a suspect on Ontario Street had allegedly entered a store with a handgun demanding money be given to him. It was reported that they took approximately $500 in cash, and 3 boxes of cigarettes'.
The suspect also caused significant damage to the store's ATM but unsuccessfully did not get any money from it.
Fleeing the scene on foot, Police were able to track the suspect down on the 100 block of Isabelle St. during a small foot chase.
The suspect's gun was reported as a Ruger SR9 and was loaded with 13 rounds. They also had both crack cocaine and heroin which were all apprehended by Police.
Samuel Maldonado Moral, 21, of Buffalo has been charged in the case.
