BUFFALO, N.Y. — 2 On Your Side has talked with from the attorney of the woman who is suing Club Marcella.
The woman claims she was brutally and physically attacked by one of the club's workers. According to the lawsuit, Kayleen Suazo was attacked by drunk patrons at the downtown Buffalo club back in May.
The lawsuit says the employee then tried to intervene but wound up attacking Suazo in the process. That employee's name is left out of the lawsuit.
The lawsuit also states Suazo suffered serious and potentially permanent injuries, and that the employee's actions are the result of a lack of training by Club Marcella.
Attorney Moses Ahn on Friday afternoon 2 On Your Side a statement saying, in-part, "The bouncer who intervened in this altercation allegedly lifted Miss Suazo up and slammed her into a wall, causing injuries to her ribs, back, neck, and head."
They also go on to say Club Marcella has a history of negligent security and should have taken further steps to keep their customers safe.
