BUFFALO, N.Y. — A Clarence Center man is facing several drug and weapons charges.
Anthony Gerace, 39, is charged with possession with intent to distribute marijuana, maintaining a drug-involved premises, and possession of firearms in furtherance of drug trafficking.
The US Attorney's office says Homeland Security investigators executed a search warrant on Gerace's home. They say agents seized multiple pounds of marijuana and other marijuana products including gummy edibles and multiple pens of THC oil cartridges used for vaping; five handguns; nine rifles; hundreds of rounds of ammunition in various calibers; three cell phones; $103,360 in cash; and evidence of sports gambling.
The indictment is requesting the forfeiture of Gerace's home, the $103,360 cash, guns and ammunition seized in the search.
Gerace was arraigned in Federal Court and released.
If convicted, he could face five years in prison, a maximum of life, and/or a $500,000 fine.
