BUFFALO, N.Y. — A Chautauqua County man pleaded guilty to meth charges on Thursday before a U.S. Magistrate Judge.
Officials say Darin L. Butts, 31, of Celeron completed seven controlled purchases of methamphetamine and fentanyl with investigators between July and August 2023.
After a search warrant execution on August 23, 2023, police recovered approximately 610 grams of methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia, and approximately $14,829.00 in cash, which represented proceeds of his methamphetamine trafficking.
On May 3, 2024, another search warrant was used where multiple quantities of suspected methamphetamine and fentanyl were found, along with additional drug paraphernalia.
Sentencing for Butts is scheduled at a later date.
