Buffalo woman pleads guilty to stabbing boyfriend to death

Charrinda Gray, 49, pleaded guilty in State Supreme Court to one count of Manslaughter in the Second Degree.

BUFFALO, N.Y. — A Buffalo woman has pleaded guilty to stabbing her boyfriend to death. 

Charrinda Gray, 49, pleaded guilty in State Supreme Court to one count of Manslaughter in the Second Degree.

Buffalo Police officers were called to a home on Heward Avenue in Buffalo for a report of a stabbing on October 19, 2020.

Investigator say when officers arrived on scene, they found a male with stab wounds in his abdomen and buttocks.  The victim, identified as Gray's boyfriend Samuel A. Jackson, 46, of Buffalo. Jackson was taken to ECMC where he later died. 

Gray faces a maximum of 15 years in prison when she is sentenced in January. She is remains released on a $250,000 bond.
