BUFFALO, N.Y. — Three people were arrested following a police chase of a stolen vehicle Wednesday night.
It all began around 9:30 p.m. Wednesday, when someone notified Buffalo Police officers on the 2300 block of Fillmore Avenue that their vehicle had been stolen. Officers quickly spotted the vehicle at Starin and Depew avenues.
At that point, the New York State Police Aviation Unit assisted Buffalo Police, following the vehicle as it traveled the wrong direction on the Kensington Expressway, into oncoming traffic. The vehicle eventually stopped on the 900 block of Lafayette Avenue, where three people exited the vehicle before being arrested by police.
A 17-year-old male was arrested, along with 19-year-olds Jaquan Tillman and Theodore Robinson. A search of the New York State electric court filing system showed that Tillman and Robinson both appeared Thursday morning in Buffalo City Court. Both have defense attorneys.
All three are from Buffalo. They were all charged with one felony count of reckless endangerment; one felony count of grand larceny; and one felony count of criminal possession of stolen property.
