Buffalo Police investigate stranger-danger incident

A student was waiting at the bus stop on Hertel Avenue and St. Florian Street when a man pulled up and asked the student to get in the car, according to police.

BUFFALO, N.Y. — The Buffalo Police Department is investigating an apparent stranger-danger incident, which happened Wednesday morning in the city's Black Rock neighborhood.

A student was waiting at the bus stop on Hertel Avenue and St. Florian Street when a man pulled up and asked the student to get in the car, according to police. The student did not get in the car, and the unknown man drove away.

The driver is described as a white man driving a red car. He has a gray beard and was wearing a gray shirt.
