Buffalo Police: 1 man dead, 2 injured after East Side shooting

The shooting happened on Schmarbeck Avenue, near Broadway, according to police.

BUFFALO, N.Y. — One man is dead and two others were injured after a shooting Saturday morning on Buffalo's East Side, according to the Buffalo Police Department. 

The shooting happened on Schmarbeck Avenue, near Broadway.

Police say two men were brought to Erie County Medical Center in a personal vehicle around 2 a.m., saying they were shot.

The third man arrived at ECMC just after 3:30 a.m. in a vehicle.

Buffalo Police said a 29-year-old man has died. The two other men, ages 32 and 29, have been treated and released from ECMC.

Police say that a fight had occurred during a gathering.
