BUFFALO, N.Y. — A 40-year-old Buffalo man was sentenced on Friday, June 28 for a shooting that happened on East Ferry Street in January of 2023.
An Erie County Court Judge ruled that Louis C. Goforth would be sentenced to 20-years in prison followed by 5-years of post-release supervision.
Goforth had shot the victim on January 22 of 2023 with an illegal gun on the 200 block of East Ferry Street. The victim 39-year-old Mario Saddler died at the scene.
In February of 2024, Goforth had pleaded guilty to one count of manslaughter in the first degree.
