A Buffalo man will spend the next 20 years to life in prison for beating an employee of a chocolate shop on Broadway earlier this year.
John Jaycox, 50, was found guilty by a jury of attempted murder, attempted assault, attempted robbery, assault and attempted sexual abuse.
Investigators say Jaycox attacked a 60-year-old employee last March.
Just prior to being sentenced by the judge, Jaycox admitted to beating the employee, but denied the attempted sexual assault and robbery attempt.
The woman who was attacked also spoke at the sentencing, saying it's clear from Jaycox's words that he won't change.
