BUFFALO, N.Y. — A Buffalo man arraigned Monday faces one count of felony murder, according to the Erie County District Attorney's Office.
Edwin Vazquez, 26, appeared before acting Erie County Court Judge James A.W. McLeod. He was held without bail, and no further court dates are set.
Vazquez faces up to 25 years to life in prison.
Prosecutors say that Vazquez stabbed 47-year-old Manuel Medina multiple times at about 3:45 a.m. on August 22, 2018. The incident happened on the 400 block of 7th Street.
Vazquez was found in Florida and was extradited back to Buffalo.
