BUFFALO, N.Y. — A Buffalo man has been arrested and charged with production of child pornography.
Mark Nash, 34, was arrested on the charge that carries at minimum penalty of 15 years in prison and a maximum of 30 years.
Prosecutors say Buffalo Police received a report in April that Nash had images of a naked girl on his phone and allegations that he sexually abused her.
A search warrant was obtained and more than 200 explicit images of the minor victim were found.
Nash is on probation for his 2022 conviction in Erie County for criminal possession of a weapon.
Nash made an appearance in court on Tuesday and will remain in custody until his hearing on June 29.
